Raw Casting

Every Family Cross starts with the old-world casting process called "lost wax casting." During the process, a wax is produced from a master mold and then replaced or "lost" by molten gold. After the metal cools it is ready for the craftsman's touch.

Diamond Setting

Diamond setting is a true old-world skill that takes many years to prefect. A seat is first cut in the metal and the diamond or birthstone is gently placed in position. A small hammer and chisel are then used to push down the metal prongs to secure the stone.
